Bio by Brit Seaton

Brendan Angelides is a music producer and BAFTA nominated composer. His multi-genre records have been released on record labels Interscope, Ninja Tune, Warp, Planet Mu, Milan and his own imprint Ancestor. NPR's Bob Boilen described him as "part musician, part magician" to introduce his 2015 Tiny Desk Concert performance.

Angelides scored all seven seasons of Showtime's Billions, along with Super Pumped, Netflix's 13 Reasons Why and Echoes. In 2024 he was BAFTA nominated for his score to Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed Mirage. He co-composed the score for Darren Aronofsky's Postcard From Earth with his collaborators in the Echo Society, running for two years at the Las Vegas Sphere, and most recently co-produced the soundtrack for Bungie's Marathon with composer Ryan Lott (Son Lux). His VR score for Minimum Mass was an official selection at Tribeca and won Best VR at Annecy in 2020.

Press.

“The Assassin’s Creed Mirage soundtrack is powerful. Watching the orchestra work towards the climax of one of the main pieces that was being recorded in the Power Station studio, I saw gooseflesh prick up on the arms of almost everyone in the room.”
THE GUARDIAN

“Electrifyingly enveloping…mind-melting invention...”
BBC MUSIC

"..Composer Angelides (whose pulsating score has never sounded better) to the entire cast, “Billions” has served up a miniature masterpiece of ethical conundrums..."
THE NEW YORK TIMES

"Angelides’ sterile yet somehow soulful contribution to “Billions” perfectly matches the overall mood, in a way that heightens the show’s psychological anxiety and the frosty exchanges between characters."
THE WASHINGTON POST

“Props to Aronofsky for tapping the composers of L.A. collective the Echo Society to create a score that brings an industrial richness and atonality to the experience."
LA TIMES

"The Echo Society Is Pushing Classical Music into the Future"
NOISEY / VICE

"SOL is a widescreen experience...acres of space for the trickle of field recordings and weaving of string sections and piano tinkering."
